Aim of the subject:
The goal is to enable engagement in meaningful philosophical discussions and reading of philosophical texts. The primary focus is on aesthetics.
Content: Exploration of the philosophical legacy of various Western intellectual world philosophers (phenomenology, existentialism, structuralism, etc.). Analysis of different philosophical schools based on specific philosophical issues. Raising philosophical problems and engaging in discussions during seminars with the audience. Understanding and interpreting various phenomena in today's culture through a philosophical lens. Questions related to aesthetics and ethics.
This is an in-depth philosophy course where different texts are used to seek answers to various philosophical questions. Learning outcomes:
The student should have elementary knowledge of Western philosophy. Prerequisite: Introduction to Philosophy.
The course "Philosophy Seminar" provides additional knowledge in philosophy, particularly in aesthetics and music philosophy, focusing primarily on the 20th-century philosophical discourse on aesthetics.
By the end of the course, the student will have broader knowledge of philosophy and enhanced independent analytical skills.
The course is designed for Master's students.
