Aim of the subject:
The aim of the subject is to get to know the basics of acting, to learn to concentrate and to feel free and creative in front of the audience and to understand why to go on stage.This is an introduction to the fundamentals of public speaking, performance and acting through physical and verbal exercises, theatre games and etudes.
Content: There are group trainings (approximately 10 people in a group).
This course will focus on relaxing the body and mind to find freedom, calm concentration and sincerity on stage, also develop the ability to understand, analyse and interpret material and character. Students will play nonverbal games for imagination and improvisation, do exercises with invisible objects (to develop physical memory and imagination), learn to imitate and develop animal characters, compose etudes alone and in group (to develop communication, trust and collaboration), analyse and perform poems and/or prose texts. Learning outcomes:
A student who has passed the subject has developed

- the courage to perform,
- the courage to improvise in front of the audience,
- text analysis,
- attentiveness to your partner's and your own creativity.
Assessment:
The course will end with an open class where the students go through all the basic warm-up exercises, games, improvisational and prepared etudes and scenes on what they have worked during the course.
Assessment criteria:
The assessment will be positive if the student has actively participated in the entire course and completed the tasks given by the professor.
