Aim of the subject:
Language skills on CEFR level A2. Aim is to learn simple spoken language, correct pronunciation and intonation, beginner`s grammar, comprehension of simple reading and listening texts; introduce the culture and customs of German-speaking countries.
Prerequisite for participation is proficiency in German at A1 level.
Content: Integrated development of the proficiency of the four language skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing) in accordance with the A2 language level.

Textbook chapters 5-8 Learning outcomes:
After attending the course, the student can
• Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
• Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
• Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

1st semester ungraded exam: 4 written tests
2nd semester graded exam
Prerequisite for the exam are positive results in 4 written tests during the semester
A2 level test: 4 modules- Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.
Student participation (80%) in lectures, performing the given tasks and positive results are taken into account.
