Aim of the subject:
The course runs during the first and the third semester. It aims to create a guided space for students to run their own self-led learning practice. The course allows students to exercise self-responsibility, agency, and discipline in organisation of the content and time of work. The student's task is to explore topics that are not included in the mandatory part of the curriculum but potentially significantly expand and contribute to the area of students' research or practice interest.
Content: Based on the offer of EAMT and/or alternatively from other Estonian universities as well as events and resources abroad or online students design their own learning journey selecting the courses that are the most beneficial for their current studentship path and personal development. The chosen courses/events need to be confirmed with the course instructors. Learning outcomes:

-Student gains more knowledge about the specific aspect and topics in their field that are corresponding with their learning and professional path
- The student is more confident in his/her understanding of the broader concepts and is easily able to transfer them to his/her field of work.
- the student has the ability to decide, plan and implement actions that will help to develop more sense of responsibility for their learning journey and the time spent in it.

Assessment criteria:
In order to pass the module, students are required to:
1. Collect at least 4 ECTS from the sessions provided by the EAMT or other universities abroad, or through participation in lectures, seminars, and other events that are of importance to their professional development. 2. Give in all the assignments from the session or event or seminar in a timely manner. In case the event doesn't have a final assignment, this is being assigned upon agreement with the course instructor.
